I hardly knew you
You've passed on a couple of months after my birth
At times I feel like you were just a sperm donor
But the truth is…
Your blood runs through my veins and I feel your ancestors protecting me


I long for your presence in my life.
I feel enraged and emotional at times
I feel grateful to have emotionally disowned you at times
But because I am in your blood-line and ancestral tree.

I may not have any contact with anyone from your family.
